Crew Available: In NZ now, experienced female

Ahoy! I am a 38 year old Canadian female, looking for some serious South Pacific sailing. I am in New Zealand now, looking to sail anytime, anywhere. I am here for 9 months. I can pay my own way.

I am a sailing instructor, and kickboxing instructor, so I am strong and focused. Most of my experience is on the lake, where I have done some solo crossings on my own 27' sloop. (only 30 nm, lol) My longest trip was crewing 1300 miles coastal waters, straight through, so I am used to watch rotations.

I have skippered many multi-week charter boats in the Caribbean, 50' monohulls, 40' catamarans. I am not mechanically inclined - at most I could replace the fuel filter, impeller, etc. But I have taken many navigation courses, and don't need to rely on GPS. My father is a live aboard.

I am very keen, and highly adaptable to any situation. I am not a complainer, and can in fact boost crew morale. I don't smoke or drink. With all due respect, I am NOT interested in a romantic situation. To see if we are a good fit, it's always a good idea to meet first, and go out for a day sail. Cheers!
