INDONESIA: experienced female crew looking to sail december-march

Greetings,
I am an experienced, 30 year old female blue water sailor with seatime in the Atlantic and Caribbean, as well as the North and South Pacific on monohulls and catamarans below 50 feet. As crew, I'm an active, watch-standing,
line-pulling, oil-changing, log-keeping, weather-spotting, sail-sewing, galley-slaving member. In the past I've sailed primarily with just one other person (the owner/Captain) and occasionally up to 3 active sailors. Currently, I am studying dance in central Java and exploring the mountains. Its great. but I miss the sea already! If you are searching for crew to sail the islands between December and March, please get in touch, I'd love to explore the region by coast line and hopefully my developing language skills will be an asset.
If you re planning a trip and looking for a fit and adventurous companion, lease contact me.

Re: INDONESIA: experienced female crew looking to sail december-march

hi you multitalented oceangoing lady )

your talents could be a great asset for my boat and me, but would get you nowhere, because I intend to bring my newly aquired Simpson 45 cat from Brisbane to Bali, close to where you would start.
(I am happy to pay for the flight to Brisbane.)
Now we have to check out, if the tour may meet your interest:

I am a very fit 66 young married male individual. My Balinese wife may only join for one or the other easy leg(s)of the trip.

My blue water experience is more limited than my trust that all should be OK, although it is still Cyclone season. The weather warnings come at least 3 days before heavy winds and by then the boat will be safely sitting in a harbour or protected anchorage.
I also have a small Wharram cat, which I run on occasions single handed between Bali and Lombok, so I am not totally blue eyed.
All new electronics, radar on board. Just no cookie, because I am hopeless in the kitchen.

Departure / arrival are flexible, if one place is enjoyable, hang around, enjoy, otherwise plough on.

What say you ?
Regards, Ray
