Key West to Marblehead, MA - Offshore Passage

Hello All Sailors,

This is a tentative passage. Right now I am looking at availabity of crew. Crew needs off-shore passage capability, read charts, stand watch, handle sails, etc.. There will be three or possibly four total crew, including myself as owner/skipper. This is planned as an all offshore passage with one layover in Beaufort NC for rest and provisions. Beaufort NC is a crew change location if necessary.

Vessel: Devante's Dream, a well maintained 2005 Jeanneau 40.3 Three Cabin/Two Head sloop, auto-helm, chart plotters, e-pirb, sat phone, jack lines, inflatable life jackets, etc..
Depart: Key West on or around June 15th 2010
Layover: Beaufort NC on or around June 19th 2010
Depart: Beaufort NC on or around June 21st 2010
Arrive: Marblehead MA on or around June 24th 2010
Costs: All passage costs and provisions provided by owner, transport to/from vessel provided by crew.

These are best case scenario dates. Passages may take longer but probably not shorter unless there is a big blow! So the whole trip might take 14 days or so.

Stay aboard once in Marblehead for a while and enjoy the area.

Also, the vessel will be returning to Key West in late September/early October on a more leisurely pace possibly doing some intracoastal routes.

Let me know if you are interested!

So, plans have changed and Devante's Dream won't be going north. Thanks to everyone that took a look at this thread. It can be closed.
