Looking for Boat from USVI to New England

Hi, I am looking to catch a ride on a boat from USVI (or thereabouts) to New England.

My season ends in the spring and I would like to NOT fly home! I am very open to suggestions, and I would like to learn a few things on the trip!

Price isn't a concern. Maybe someone is taking their rig home for the summer ????

Any ideas would be appreciated. My dates are very, very flexible.

Welcome to the forum, Michael.

Quite a few cruisers head north in the May time frame, but that's quite a few months from now, and most wouldn't be lining up crew this early. So, if you don't make any arrangements just now, be sure to try again in the early Spring next year. If you have sailing experience, especially offshore, or any boat-related skills, be sure to mention them in your "Berth Wanted" posts.

Good info!!!!

Hi Hud,

Thanks!

I operate 3 hotels in BVI and St. Thomas. Frankly, I fly in and out of both places (and St. Maarten to Paris). So I am very new to the sailing world. I have SEEN many boats of course.....but don't spend much time doing anything but attending cocktail parties. I live in Boston, but spend time in The Hague in The Netherlands as well as BVI and USVI of course. I will be doing some sailing this summer in the North Sea between Holland and England. I will also be spending about a month on a catamaran in the Greek Isles.
In the springtime I will be mostly a newbie....but a newbie that will learn quickly and do whatever. I will be more than willing to pay whatever for the experience!
I am SOOOO tired of the flights. I am 44 years old...time to add something to my life.
I have seen your posts on this site......I appreciate your input!

Michael
