Looking for Skipper/Instructor

I am ASA 101-103. Not a lot of time under sail. I have a Hunter 30. Looking for someone with skipper qualifications and mileage to teach
and travel with around the Caribbean/Mexico/Central America.
Will cover expenses on the boat. Looking at 3-6 month adventure.
February 2013 on...... No definitive plan yet...

Cheers

Re: Looking for Skipper/Instructor

I sailed 5 of the seven seas (skipped the north & south oceans), I crossed the Atlantic Ocean 7 times, I can teach you all you need to know, but I don't work for free.
Send me a PM if you're interested.

Hadar.

If I understand correctly, you want to do this on your own boat in one or more of the listed cruising grounds. Correct?

Re: Looking for Skipper/Instructor

Hi,
I've sailed for 25 yrs, raced for 15 and taught sailing for the last 3 yrs. I often cruise a 1977 Hunter30 on the Chesapeake. What yr is your Hunter30 and do you propose taking it those places or to charter there?
Where do you live and keep the boat?
Regards,
John

You're not the first one to be terrified by me. But you can rest assured, rocking your armchair. I'm not gonna teach YOU anything unless you ask me to.

Have a very nice day.

I didn't think you scared so easily .

I have re-read the statement a few times and just can't see anything in it - IMO simply succinct (even if not literal, along the way OP will acquire the main skill he needs - to be able to learn for self from own experiences, without anyone dying ).

It implies that someone knows everything about sailing, since they can teach someone everything they'll ever need to know.
