Looking to Be a Sailing Crew

I'm in the Tampa Bay area looking to learn how to sail as part of a crew. I have only ever sailed small daysailers, and I eventually would love to travel the globe someday on sailboats. But these days most people are looking for experienced sailors. I'm available to anyone in the Tampa area that wants a very easily trainable hand at the helm of a sailboat. I'm a student working part time, so if you need an extra hand, email me and I'd love to learn from you!

Re: Looking to Be a Sailing Crew

BlueChairBay - If you are comfortable with sailing "rules of the road" and have handled a smaller boat yourself - I am looking for a few local Tampa sailors interested in "helping" me sail our Gulfstar 53' Ketch when my wife cannot go out for the day. I sail weekends in Tampa Bay and at times out into the Tampa Channel approach in the Gulf. Shoot me a PM and we can arrange a meet. I base out of Old Tampa Bay Harbor (Hula Bay).
