Mexico to Australia - 2011

Could be dreaming still !
Putting out some feelers to find out whats possible.
We are hopeing to follow the milk run in 2011 from Mexico to Aus.
April / May.
Will take as much time as required to do this passage reasonably stress free and willing to wait for good weather windows.
Have never done a passage crossing and hoping to get help from either a couple or maybe just one.
Experience esential , as we have litlle .
Also willing to pass on your knowledge.
Hopefully we we be sailing a cat.
Maybe crew for the first long crossing , with the availability to jump ship in the Pacific somewhere , would be OK.
Not really sure at this stage , but would love to hear from possible interested party,s etc.
Cheers Darren

Sailing West

I'm able and available. Can show up early and help get your boat ready with repairs and help with provisioning, trip planning, etc. It's pretty easy that time of year, just follow the setting Sun, then pick a star. . .

well, it's a little more complicated than that..

TerranBJ and I am still at AOL dottcom.

Mark,
Go to the Webside www.latitude38.com
and select puddle jump, this is a kinds of - sort of rally for an annual migration of boats headed for the South Pacific.

We just did an Acapulco-Clipperton Island Expedition this past May-June on a 7o ft. yawl, really enjoyed it. I, too, am very interested in doing a trans-Pacific sail, 2011 would be great. (Depending, of course, on how business goes for the next few months.) I have an STCW Captainīs Certificate and about 20,000 miles of offshore sailing.
Letīs keep in touch!
