Crew Wanted: New Zealand to Fiji - May 2015

Ahoi all aspirant sailors,

We are a couple on a 48' sailing Catamaran.

There is a queen size cabin available for the 5~6 days crossing to Fiji possibly via Minerva Reef.
You can spend some time with us before and after the crossing of course.

ETD is the first week of May from the Bay of Island, but it depends on weather, will only leave at the first good weather forecasted for the crossing.

This is not a charter, but we expect a payment to contribute to all our many expenses.

Also any other vessel going that way, please touch base and we might try and go together.

Have fun on the Volvo boat, there you will learn how to sail on an angle and wet ....
If you manage to get on Novae, you'll experience eating lasagna and drinking Italian coffee in the cockpit, while the boat looks after herself...

experience is not important, attitude is.
The boat is very easy to sail, she actually goes on her own on autopilot most of the time.

We'll be making that same trip in a couple of weeks, though we are on a 53' monohull so we may not sail too close together.

Yes, Novae is anchored just a few meters from you and will sail away at the same time.
