pirate Novice in New England (CT) for Short Day / Weekend Sails

Good afternoon!

I am completely inexperienced and entirely enthusiastic about learning to sail. While I am saving money to afford some basic courses, I would love to find a person or family who could use a hand on board for short day or weekend trips. I have lots of experience with kids and pets, so perhaps I could help you watch yours on the trip, in exchange for you teaching me some sailing basics?

Please reply or PM if you'd like to discuss further!

This is what makes for a great forum when a newbie can just post a request for help to learn how to do things and maybe a some free sailing lessons and straight away we have two responses. Great stuff holmek and tanksalot! Now if anyone needs to know how not to do stuff, come sailing with me.
