Wow.. I didnt know that radios, lifejackets, rafts, epirbs etc were all free. I thought they had to be paid for. Of course that doesnt add up to 300k but just getting the boat from the UK to the pacific would be 20-30k.

Add on top Medicals, fees, cameras, choppers for filming yadda yadda, I think you would easily crack 300k.
