Re: Retired firefighter/paramedic, experienced crew,

Hi there,

You look like a good fit for what I need.

Check out blueplanetcruisingschool.com.

I offer a paid delivery crew position Ft Lauderdale to St Thomas mid to late april on a 45 foot offshore boat, followed in early may by a non paid crew stint St Thomas to Miami area on Blue Planet, my Hylas 47 (but hey, that one's downwind!)

If interested, contact me via the contact form on the web site, and we will continue the conversation.

Thanks
Captain Lou Orion

Re: Retired firefighter/Paramedic, Experienced Crew

Cliff,
I wish you good luck in your search for crewing opportunities. I just retired from the FD after 30 years and I'm getting ready to sail to Mexico this October, and then the South Pacific.
Like you, I am a great cook and an adventurer. Also like you, I miss the guys and the camaraderie every day

Be safe, my friend.

Cheers, Bill

Re: Retired firefighter/Paramedic, Experienced Crew

Thanks Bill.

I've been pretty lucky 'n have stayed pretty busy sailing.

Enjoy that retirement. After thirty years you've certainly earned it!

And have as much fun as you can in the Pacific!

Re: Retired firefighter/Paramedic, Experienced Crew

Zee I spoke with one of the owners. He was going to talk to his partner and get back to me. As yet, I've not heard anything back from them.

Be pretty nice sailing down to CR. I've always enjoyed the Pacific coast.
