Sailing from Europe to South Africa

Hey Sailer

my name is Philippe I am looking for a adventure through the Atlantic down to the Cape.
National TV-Show is doing a Broadcasting ending of 2014 about „THE GREAT REVIVEL SAILOR
CRUISES“ and my story has been approved and accepted. So I am looking for a sailor with a
boat that is able and has the time to do a trip from Europe to South Africa. From beginning of February
middle of March 2014 would be the plan of departure. Of course I am open for other dates. We
are minimum one person with a camera man so total two. I have experience on sea up to 5
Sea miles offshore and my camera Guy as well.
Of cours will we also participate on the costs. So if you are up for it please get in contact with me than we can proceed and sail.
Looking forward to hear from you
Best Regards
Philippe

generally yachts heading to cape town from the N atlantic aim to arrive in cape town around december, leaving in april would put you there mid winter!

may want to rethink your passage plan, and aim to leave north atlantic by june, then work your way south to rio by november, crossing to the cape nov dec jan.

why not do it the other way round?,currently yachts are leaving from capetown for the caribbean and europe, you will hav a much greater chance of finding a vessel, doing the trip at the "correct" time,if you wish to sail on a sailing vessel.

+A1... unless you plan to spend time in Brazil and Argentina you'll get your ass kicked before the Southern Spring on the crossing W to E..
