Crew Available: San Francisco: experienced young skipper searching for Weekend trips

Hello everybody,

I am searching for an opportunity to go sailing on weekends around San Francisco.
I am a 22 year old student from Germany. I already sailed round UK and Baltic Sea from bottom to the top and back in 5 Weeks, most of the time without crew.
I got some german and an international licence for steering non comercial Sail/motorvessels.

Hi Jonathan:

There is no license requirement in the US. Latitude 38 - The West's Leading Sailing and Marine Magazine Latitude 38 (local sailing magazine) has a good crew list. When I first started sailing in SF this is how I found boats to race/cruise on. Remember that it gets really cold on SF Bay so you will need to have weather gear">foul weather gear and warm clothing especially if you are going to race.
