71 year young Captain of 31' Island Packet looking for female companion prefer late fifties or older, for sailing crew, vessel presently on L.I. and plan to bring boat to Fla. stops in New England and Chesapeake Bay. Will sail to West Coast of Florida by safest route available depending on weather conditions. Little or no financial input expected by unpaid crew. Captain is an experienced, single male living on the West coast of Fla. references and any info personal info desired will be furnished to insure crew safety. Hello there, Now how many skippers are looking for someone in their late 50"s?? Anyway, I just turned 58 ans am missing some salt for quite some time. My experience includes building and sailing when I was young. We sailed mostly cruising cats on the East Coast of Australia, but we did build a 46' mono - I am comfortable on either although I may get seasick on a mono for the first few days. I have only been offshore (in one of our boats) for three days max as there was really no need to go offshore sailing the Barrier Reef. I don't smoke, drink only sometimes socially, speak English, Australian and Canadian eh. 5'8, red hair, medium+ build, and glasses. I live in Kitchener, Ontario 2hrs from the Niagara/Buffalo border.
