I would like to thank all of you far and wide for the offers to help with my journey. I frankly am quite surprised, and thrilled by all the offers. I have just closed on my boat today...need some time to spend the $12k I have in repairs and updates....yes, although the boat is in great shape.. It needs a lot, and cheaper here than in Florida. I have however found a crew ate that calls himself "Smee"....sounds familiar somehow, and I have no doubt he will be a loyal crewmate when we lift off. Many thanks to all on this post.. I have enjoyed exchanging emails and helpful hints. More to come!
