I will be sailing my Moody 46 from St Petersburg, Florida to New England in July. Beautiful boat, well equipped with all the latest state of the art navigation, weather and safety equipment. Two large staterooms, take your choice, the master stateroom or the forward stateroom. I am looking for an experienced sailer(s) who has sailed the Atlantic U.S. East Coast, Gulf Stream... You should also be good with electronic chart plotters, radar, AIS and Sirius Marine Weather.

Where are you heading to in New England? I'm in Rhode Island.

I'm very interested in this passage. I'm 27 years old, self-employed in the IT field, and am seriously considering purchasing my own sailboat (thus my interest in doing a passage like this) in the near future. I have minimal sailing knowledge but have been around boats all my life. I'm more than capable of standing watch and using navigation equipment and am more than willing to learn the rest along the way.
