Volunteer for a Boat Going South from the US

I am looking for someone who needs help sailing their boat south. Preferably going somewhere in central or South America. However, my main goal is to gain sailing experience and see some cool places outside the US.

I am 26, good with anything mechanical, hard working and easy to get along with. I have been on a sailboat but my experience is very limited. I normally work as a wildlife biologist however, I have quit my job to move south and would like to spend some time travelling before I settle back into a regular job.

Any questions are welcome

I'll be leaving LA on the west coast around about beginning November cruising down to Mexico then on to Ecuador to to be ready to sail South Pacific back to Australia departing Ecuador in Febuary.

Catalina 42, very well equipped!

Re: Volunteer for a Boat Going South from the US

The east coast would be easier for me since I am in Arkansas. However, I can always buy a plane ticket that is cheap for somewhere like LA if it was the right situation. Jamel that sounds great but, I want to try to start earlier if possible. Let me see what options develop here and I will definately consider it!

Re: Volunteer for a Boat Going South from the US

I'm planning on heading south early to mid November, depending on the weather, from Annapolis MD. Hope to do the Caribbean, then Panama and Central America. Let me know your interest and we can share details.

Re: Volunteer for a Boat Going South from the US

I will be leaving from somewhere on the southern east coast heading for Tortola sometime late October/early November. Would like to have another pair of hands on board. Departure location depends on where I can hook up with a group of other boats making the passage.
Let me know if you're interested
