General Info: 2014 Lagoon 52 or 2011 Lagoon 560

Hi all,

I am a new sailor with friends owning smaller mono hulls.
I am planning to live aboard in the Caribbean and hop islands, and are deciding which boat is best for me.
I will be mainly just with my girlfriend and a few weeks per month we will have friends visiting us.
One of my friends is a captain with a lot of experience and the plan is to take him and his wife aboard for some time till i learned everything i need to know.

It is pretty hard to find a nice boat at the moment it seems and a lot of the brokers seem to be cowboys.

Which boat you guys think will work the best for my situation?

2011 Lagoon 560
4 cabin with large owner cabin / 4 heads
All equipment like gen/watermaker/solar panels etc
Pro's: larger than the 52, with specially a much larger fly bridge with superb seating areas and a much larger cockpit.
Cons: older model, specially the interior. 3 years older, engine hours around 3000 and generator about 7900 hours.

2014 Lagoon 52
4 cabin with large owner cabin / 4 heads
All equipment like gen/watermaker/solar panels etc
pro's: Build in wine climatizer, all Miele appliances,1100 engine hours, 900 generator hours, i was on it today and everything looks and smells like new, its in western europe and is a 1 owner boat, all maintenance was done over the top, never cruised outside of Montenegro.
Cons: the smaller size, specially because a large flybridge is a nice place to sit with friends, and on the 52 its not big enough to hang out with friends.

The price is more or less the same.
The 560 owner also told me never chartered 1 owner boat, but as its in colombia its hard for me to really verify.

Anyone some suggestions maybe?
