General Info: Life Raft Location for Lagoons with Hydraulic Tender Lift

Does anyone have recommended life raft locations / mounting methods for Lagoon cats with a hydraulic lift? The normal, tidy storage under the aft deck between the hulls is great with davits, but seems too inaccessible for models with the hydraulic tender lift. I'd prefer a canister life raft mounted externally rather than a valise soft-sided life raft in a locker. Suggestions appreciated.

I have a Lagoon 46 with a tenderlift - I put my to the Starboard side of the Tenderlift using the existing padeyes and installing two more on the bottom…using a ratcheting strap to secure it and keep a sharp knife nearby in case I need to deploy quickly (it will be faster than pulling it out of the insert).

Interesting. Do you have any pictures? I am not on the boat at the moment, but I would think that it would interfere with the Dinghy anywhere on the aft there. Is it accessible with the tenderlift up with a Dinghy present? Thanks.

No problems with dinghy - BUT you cannot raise the Tenderlift with the “wing” folded out on that side all the way up…

Thanks for the picture! That's not bad. I've never seen a reason to raise the tender lift past the lowest deck with the wings extended, so that isn't really an issue. Again, thanks!
