General Info: Looking for help

I am trying to find a crew member on a leopard catamaran somewhere in California. The boat is still waiting registration. They plan to sail from California to Florida via the Panama Canal. One of the crew members has gone AWOL and our family is worried. Any suggestions on how I should start the search?

You have posted in the Lagoon section, post in the multihull section if you want a wider spread. What is/was the name of the Leopard Cat and what size is it? The Coast Guard may also send out a call across the airwaves. Call them.

This is rather vague. Is the person missing entirely? Call the police.
Has the person simply run away from home and got a deckhand job? If he's of age, nothing really you can do. Can you contact the owners of the cat? They may be able to appeal to his better nature and persuade him to return to his family.
We can better advise when we know what the problem is.
