Is it possible ? Is there anybody that did this customization?

Known on a boat as the "head."

Do keep in mind that the rigidity of the hulls is partially maintained by the interior woodwork construction. Removing structural walls may compromise your structural integrity. Im not saying it can't be done, but its needs some thought and not just ripping out walls and beams.

Thanks!! Probably the effort doesn't worth the result, and the expense will be really high since it's involved a structural part of the boat!!
But I have to admit that the 4 WC in the 440 are poorly designed and too tight compared to the 450 that seems much better at least about what I see from the 450 layout (never been abroad)

Re: Modifying the cabins / bathrooms?

James. Don't be completely put off by that. Im almost sure it can be done on a 440, just needs a structural engineering hat on but its not overly complicated. If you are not an engineer, you may want to consider finding one or a naval architect. It would probably take him/her all of 20 min to make an assessment. I have a 450 and have similar ambitions to remove the port aft head to make additional space one day, and from what Ive examined so far it can be done. I am an formal engineer from the marine industry.

As a non-charterer, I found it ridiculous to have three heads on a boat this size. When I placed the order for the boat I tried hard to have Lagoon keep that head out and it was then that I learned it was part of its structure and if removed then another construction would need to replace it, which Lagoon hadn't available. I have already installed a shelving unit into this shower for storage.

So, don't give up just yet!

Hey guys look what I found over internet, this Lagoon 440 unit owner version was converter into 8 beds, and I think that the owner didn't spend much money doing this, please take a look (or it was optional provided from Lagoon ?)
