New Lagoon hulls compared to older models

I have a question about the build of Lagoons. By the way I think Lagoons are the best value for money out there and I love the flybridge for max view.

The question is about the build. Mainly the build of the hull of today's boats compared to 6 or even 10 year old hulls.

Reason for the question is that older models seem to have more sturdy cabinetry. I know it's only the woodwork. But it has caused me to question if other areas of the boats build has suffered at the hands of the company bean counters wanting to save money.

I can see a change in quality in one area. Has there been a change in other build areas such as the all important, hull?

It could be that my question has no merit and I'm being overly concerned about a non issue. In fact today's hull manufacturing could be superior. Settling this question in my mind will help me greatly.

Thanks,
Chaya

Re: New Lagoon hulls compared to older models

i was chartering old L 41 2 weeks and cant see difference in quality compared to my L400. Builder has improved processes, made them more efficient, also cheaper.

My lagoon is 2 T heavier and has 10m2 less sail than L41 and more room. However, I can match/surpass L41 polars, lagoon published years ago.

You figure !?
