General Info: new propeller for Lagoon 40

Hi,


Anybody happen to know what is Lagoon recommendation or spec for a replacement propeller for a Lagoon 40? I have the 45hp yanmar engines and the current, factory installed, fixed blade propellers are Volvo 18x14x3. Problem is that Volvo doesn't offer that version anymore, the closest would be 17x14 or 18x16.

Hi Jel67,

first of all you should check what is the gear box ratio installed on your catamaran. You probably have a Saildrive SD60 which is available with 2 different gear ratios, the 2.49:1 or the 2.23:1, this information is fundamental in order to suggest the right propeller.
