New tender

We have just purchased a much loved 2008 420, but we need a new tender.
I am content with a hypalon in aluminium but the question is either in
3.4 or 3.6
and centre console or not.
From past experiences we need sounder/plotter/storage space for our cruising.
And to Match with 4 stroke 20hp/25hp.
Thanks for any help.

Re: New tender

There are some thoughts on dinks in this thread. Including feedback on consoles. Sea-Doo Spark as a Dink? - Page 2 - Cruisers & Sailing Forums
And quite a while ago Dockhead started on that covered dinghy size, OB's, & consoles, in depth. It gathered quite a few insights & comments, over several pages, as I recall.

Re: New tender

Take a look at the Highfield CL340HYP.
It carries 6 people and a 20hp

Re: New tender

No reason not to go as big as you can if you can fit it where it needs to go.

I personally think center consoles are a waste of space and more stuff to maintain/break, but it's a personal preference issue and a matter of intended use. It's a more comfortable ride, in general, and obviously great for sight-seeing.

Re: New tender

I think center consoles in a dinghy that size on a boat that size are too much weight.
