420: Overload warning Quick 1000W 12V Windlass

Have had the windlass working well for four years. Came to the boat and the remote had the Error message "Overload" ! system was not responding. Does anyone know how to reset this error message. I dont thing we overloaded the winch as we stowed the anchor the same way the past four years. Searched Quick Windlass manual but no mention of this message. Anyone able to let me know the reset or service that I need to perform. KataTonic Lagoon 420 Hull 75# Electric converted to Diesel.

We have a 420 and Quick windlass, but not an electronic remote.

I'd try resetting the power. There's a circuit breaker on the panel in the hatch at the front of the aft starboard bunk. I've had the breaker fail twice and have replaced it with a better type.
