Parasailor and Lagoon 380

I am looking for any assistance on rigging for this set up.. Just the blocks , what you used and where you mounted them or attached to the boat. Parasailor recomended me running the lines to the aft cockpit put think it should be run to the cockpit not aft? Any suggestions or pictures would be help full.

The answer from Jerry at Parasailor is no, main sail may block the wind, as you are sailing on a broad reach or running

Re: Parasailor and Lagoon 380

Just wondering which Lagoons this direction from the factory applies to, we are about to buy twin headsails for trade wind sailing working from the same foil (the existing genoa foil).
Tossing up wether a gennaker or code zero?

i keep it simpel, i put my mainsail hoist rope(if i can call it that) back out at the boom end and take some tension, to suport the mast when the main is not up.

You have to keep tention on the backstay to support the mast. Because the Parasailor will but much tention on the mast .

Re: Parasailor and Lagoon 380

I!'m also looking at rigging for a spinnaker on my L380. Could someone Please confirm that the the halyard comes down from one of the forward sheaves at the top of the mast to a block that is shackled on the existing tang that is just above the forestay. If so, what type of block would be suitable there. Do people have trouble stopping the block "rattling" around when there is no tension on the halyard?

TIA

Dave
