410: Removing Davits

I'm looking to run wiring inside the Davits for the new solar panels and was wondering if they can be removed rather than trying to climb and drill the ends inside the hull. There's 4 Allen Screws on the outside. Anyone remove the Davits and how much trouble is it on a Lagoon 410. I would think it was the same on all Lagoons.
