Stern Rail Diameters Lagoon 450

Hi,
I am about to order a mounting kit for a weber BBQ but I am in Australia and my Lagoon 450 is tucked up near Skradin in Croatia for the winter. Anyone know the diameter of the rails on the stern?
Cheers

Re: Stern Rail Diameters Lagoon 450

Hi Blackduck

I am in a similar situation, looking to fit a Weber Q on a 450 - what mounts have you found for the Weber?

I found these (down the page)
The 12 Volt Shop

However, the available length of the taff rail on the starboard side is just approx 38 cm so there is not a lot space to play with. I would need some sort of port-starboard extension.

BTW - my measurement of the rail was 31mm - 1.25 inch, but I defer to Paulinoz who is on the ground. I am back on my boat early Feb so will check again.

Hi anthonyp0808
I am in Australia so don't know if this helps but the site below has them specifically for a weber bbq on a rail

Hope this helps

Cheers

Re: Stern Rail Diameters Lagoon 450

Will be following this thread with interest as we have just purchased a Weber Q 2000 for our 2011 L450 which we bought last week.

It was the first thing we bought for the boat! BBQ'ing (what we call a braai) is our national past-time so was never going to be any debate about having one on board.

Just have to work out where (and how) to install it now....

Maybe this will help with your Weber Grill install.

Mounted the Weber Q1200 to the stern rail.
Used the Magma Dual Extended Horizontal Round Rail Mounts.

You can also fabricate your own grill or cutting table mounts.

I made these from just cheap SS parts.
