450: Washing machine Error code E15

Hello Lagoon Community!

The XO (my wife) on our 2016 Lagoon 450f has been hounding me to fix the washing machine that has not worked since we purchased the vessel in March of this year.

The unit has power but all I am getting is Error code E15.

No matter what position I put the rotating controller on the upper right on the face of the machine I still get the same error code.

It is a Candy Alise GVW 364 TC

Does anyone else have this washer? If so have you every seen this error code? If so, what did you do to repair it?

I have already done the usual unplug it and try to restart thing, but that has not helped.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

According to this link, E15 is a defective control module. The only thing you could try is to unplug the machine, access the controller, and inspect and re-seat every connector to the control module. And look for any other bad connections that can be re-seated. Then reassemble, plug in, and try. More info.

If that doesn't work, you are looking at a new controller... or a new washer. Appliance controllers are often pretty shoddy and fail early. Out of 5 appliances we bought approx 10 years ago, all have minor problems and a couple had major issues.

The label indicates a European 220V 50hz machine. I assume you are attempting to run it from the generator or inverter. Looks like you are in the USA. US 220V shore power will be 60 Hz and may affect the machine.
