12 Volt DC appliances

I'm looking for Marine 12DC appliances.

I've looked at the other threads, and they turned into rants.

Does anyone currently have a 12 volt DC Icemaker, or know where I can buy one.

Google search for 12 brings up Hotel, or residential Icemakers that run on 115VAC, or 220VAC.

I HAD a U-line 12VDC icemaker that died, and unfortunately I tossed it before writing down Model number.

I just need a model number, and a manufacturer, or dealer phone number.

I have a large 24 inch, by 36 inch freezer that runs on dual voltage (12VDC, 115VAC), but can't manage to put icetrays in without spilling water everywhere in rolling seas, leaving ice stalagmites in the freezer.

I have space for the U-line 12v DC icemaker I had in my old boat, but calls to U-line so far haven't gotten an answer.

Defender, and West Marine didn't have any they carried, and needed a model number to order.

Re: 12 Volt DC appliances

For making ice, we use the 1.5 oz. to 3 oz. plastic condiment cups with snap on lids. They can be tossed into the freezer and do not leak. They are small enough to fill the unused spaces.

I have no idea about 12 volt appliances. In the past they were expensive and low quality. We ended up using an inverter and 110v regular appliances.

Expensive, but it is 12v!

Desclaimer: I don't own and have never used this or any other 12v ice maker. I simply had a link bookmarked from looking for other 12v appliances for my own boat.

The rest of my appliances are Vitrifrigo so it should fit in nicely.
