12 year old primus wind generator

I am purchasing a boat with a Primus wind generator that I suspect is 12 years old. What are the chances that this is still able to generate efficiently. Is there anything I can do to help this?

It either works or it doesn’t.

If the bearings are bad, they can be replaced.

As far as efficiency, there are newer blades available for these that are quieter, but they’re speedy.
