120v Gimbaled induction hob?

This question was posted in another thread about induction hobs, but there was never an answer. I'll have the battery bank to support it.

I'm aware of:

1. GN espace Oceanchef 3 (230v only though)

2. GN espace housings https://gn-espace.com/gimballed-cooker-housing/ (but they're much wider than the usual 50cm).

3. Getting an induction hob and putting it on top of the gimbaled propane stove

4. DIY - I'm looking into a custom stainless housing.

I thought I would see if anyone knew of any other options.

There is a reason the OceanChef3 is only available 230V. Just the stove top is up to 2500W. At 12V that is 20A, exceeding the 15A a standard 120V circuit can handle. Add the oven, and it is 4.9kW- 40A at 120V. So to support that, you really need 220V, and probably a 48V battery and inverter.

A single hob is much more reasonable at 120V. If you really want a stove like that, invest in a large 230V inverter.

Thanks! Pretty much what I thought, but I figured it was worth a shot asking.

I'll either have to go the enclosure route with a 1800W burner on top and the microwave underneath or propane.
