1980’s Power Genny capacitors
My 1976 Hudson Force 50 has an old Power Genny(Newport Beach Ca.) Kubota 4 cylinder diesel powered 8KW? Generator.It had a 7-8KW? Mecc Alte alternator but the capacitor(s)are missing. Everyone who we felt knew what was what said I cannot just guess,(no stamped model #’s or owners Manual) at what capacitor will make it usable. So we bought a new alternator and now need to sell? or give away? recycle? the old useless? Alternator. Any thoughts ??
