2th alternator 24 volt on Yanmar 4jh57c

Hi,
When installing the new engine they installed a second alternator (24v-60A) from Yanmar. At that time I did not have lithium batteries from Mastervolt. After upgrading my electrical system on board I needed to adjust the alternator from Yanmar to communicate with the Alpha pro 3 . After 1 year the alternator was burned out. it seems this alternator is not suitable for the high currents so I would like to install a Alpha alternator from Mastervolt but this alternator does not fit(not enough space on the engine) . Is there anyone who installed the alternator Alpha 24v75A on a Yanmar 4jh57c? And if so, how. Best regards,
Anthony

No alternator can run at 100% power all the time, the problem wasn't the alternator. It was the regulator. With Lithium batteries, you need an external regulator with temperature sensing to lower the output as the alternator gets hot.

There was a temperature sensor on the alternator, but that wasn’t my question. I would like to install the Alpha alternator from Mastervolt . I’m looking for someone who did this on the same engine. Thanks for your answer.
