I suppose with that in mind, (if you were starting again) I'd still go for two large 24V banks and redundant 24/12 converters. Keeps it simple. So redundancy on the 24V banks, redundancy on the DC DC coverters and redundancy in that you could tie the 12V bus to the start batteries if needed.

Thanks, but that doesn't provide any advantage over the installed system, in fact it would introduce additional concerns. This system was designed to separate the large-draw, non-critical AC systems from the critical DC systems.

The 12V bank is already isolated with triple-redundant charge sources. No need to add additional DC/DC chargers as the bank is already native to the 12V house systems. Lastly, no intent to start again
