6v battery Balancer

Is anyone running a battery balancer on two 6v batteries?

I can find lots for 2x12v batteries. But nothing really for 2x 6v.

I checked mine today and they were 0.3v diff.

Look for an HA02 Battery Balancer (Amazon or Ebay) it works for 2/3/4 series connected batteries with any nominal voltage between 2.4v to 12v.

So battery state of charge can be measured by voltage. 0.3 volt mismatch a lot. Represents approx 20 to 25% state of charge mismatch. Need to find out why. This is not an application for a small balancer.

Could be due to battery aging or malfunction. Suggest testing specific gravity of each cell in each battery. Could also be caused by unequal charging voltage and current. Take a look at how batteries wired. Load and charging current must be equally applied to each battery.
