A curious crossover

Hello.

I theoretically have two separate power systems running through the boat. One system powers the HVAC and the high-pressure pump for the watermaker and is theoretically independent of the house bank.

If I have the HVAC system on shore power and the rest of the system unplugged and running on battery... if I turn on the HVAC, 15 min later I lose 110 to my plugs. No breakers flip, it just stops. Plug in the house bank and it comes right back on.

The batteries read 98% when it happened today.

So how are your batteries charged when on shore power?

Probably not completely independent, right?

So what are the points of interconnection? Start there first.
