Yah it happens all the time. Elsewhere I asked if anyone knew of a 12VDC hang under the cabinet radio/cd player for the galley for less then the $250 Jensen units I can find. Line voltage unit can be had for less than $50. Instead I got lectures about using a car radio or ripped music file on a computer and why would I want to do such a silly thing....
Because that what my wife wants that's why.

In my case I have a 2500 watt inverter and I may want to run my portable drill press while making chain plates. That's over 200 amps. Size does matter! LOL
