Here’s my schematic for my Trojan F26 as I convert the old girl over to solar and LFP battery bank for the house circuit. I’m keeping the engine battery FLA. The OEM set up has a central cable connected to the central post of the 1–2-All-Off battery switch. This cable also contains the output to the 12V distribution of all loads. The other charging sources, which I originally planned to dedicate to the LFP house bank, are Victron 100/30 MPPT solar controller and Victron IP67 120V/25A plug-in charger. I’m now thinking about connecting both of these charging sources (fused, of course) to the central post of the switch, which could allow me to charge either or both banks via solar or AC shore power. Underway, the 70A alternator will charge the FLA engine battery, but will this same power make either of the other 2 proposed chargers go “poof”?
