Alternator not charging

Hello

My Perkins prima50 does not charge, the altenator throws out 14 v. If i measure betweenthe batteri+ and the motor Block it shows 12 v, it is not grounded, so thats is wrong..right?
Anyone know what these boxes are, and could they be the problem?

If you get 14v at the alt it is working.
you either have wiring issues. Or you are measuring the wrong battery, and charging a different one.

What’s not grounded? If the engine and battery were not grounded together. The boat would not start.

The "boxes" appear to be the tops of relays.
