Autopilot Dropping Out

My 6002 drops to standby occasionally - perhaps once a day - sometimes twice a day.
Any ideas ??

How solid is your power to the control? Apparently it doesn't take much of a drop in voltage to make them reboot and come up in their initial state or make them go crazy.

Talking to the service guys it took running a wire directly to the battery and still have my 4000 fail and borrowing a friends controller that didn't fail to convince them mine had an intermittant problem. Always they said your voltage is sagging.
