Backside of Bifacial panels inefficient due to mounts??

On the back, if the mounts are not only on the side but also in the middle, does this make the backside inefficient.
Has anyone any opinions on this?

The underside of a panel is already in full shade, getting at least 90% less sun (measure it--I have related to UV tests). How much difference are a few spots of more shade going to make?

Yes, that seems to be right, I looked at some install pictures and instructions and it seems to be that as long as you have left space for sunlight to get to the underside, then having some supports running across seems to not change the efficiency much.

Just remember that the claim of 20% greater efficiency assumes that the cockpit is as white as snow. Every cushion, every angle, and the darker floor subtracts from that.
