Battery Charger Question

YOU CAME UP TWICE IN REARDS TO MY INQUIRY ABOUT THE BATTERY CHARGER, GUEST 2515C. MINE IS NOT FUNCTIONING PROPERLY. STRANGE VOLTAGE OUT OF BANK 1 & 2 OUTPUT POSTS. WHERE MIGHT I FIND A SCHEMATIC FOR THE UNIT AND
HOW DO I TEST THE TRASFORMER ? I HOPE THIS REQUEST DOESN'T SEEM TOO DUMB BUT THERE IT IS. I AM WRITING FROM SWEDEN AND HOPE TO BE BACK AT MY
BOAT IN NC IN A FEW WEEKS AND WOULD DEARLY LIKE TO GET THE CHARGER WORKING AGAIN.

That appears to be an older ferroresonant charger. Try this thread: http://www.cruisersforum.com/forums/...ger-21340.html.

Dump it. Don't play with it. It'll ruin your batteries.

Get a decent "smart charger", with at least 3-stage charging. Best buy is probably an Iota; they make several models from 15A to 90A.
