Battery chargers

Are there two different types of battery chargers for charging two types of batteries: one for wet cell and another type for jell batteries?

Usually on good chargers there are switches to set for battery type. However a single charger can only charge a single chemistry once set, so no mixing.

Most reasonable quality chargers have different settings for different types of batteries.

Some of the best quality chargers have custom settings that can be specified by the user to ideally suit the particular brand of battery.
