Battery height dimensions

Do battery height dimensions include the terminal posts or just the battery case?

I just measured duracell group 31 agm...to my surprise it includes the post.

I guess I could have measured mine today when I measured the battery box and height.

The BCI maximum height includes the terminal posts.
Width and length measurements are generally to the widest point, including protruding flanges, except for hold-down flanges, at the bottom of the battery.
