Battery Selection

My 6 x 300 AH Gel batteries have given up. I got six solid years out of them and they were an off brand I think, Sole. I am in Corfu and it looks like I have two good choices. Victron 265AH GELs or Mastervolt 265 AH GEL. I am waiting for the price and delivery but guess they will be close to the same price. 800 to 900 euros each. Anyone with experience to recommend one from the other? My gut says Victron because I have quite a bit of Victron stuff on board but would appreciate any advice.

If you are a true cruiser you don't want gel battery's. Try to find LiFePO4, at 3 time the price they are cheaper in the long run not to mention all the other plusses LiFePO4 has to offer.
