They don't seem to say anything about their "clipper" except it may be required for mppt operation with a wind turbine?

The site seems a little sparse on technical details but if that one controller can handle it all, and do so reliably, it would be a great find.

I'd be careful about sealing up the alternator, since diodes normally need good airflow for cooling or they will burn out. Catch-22 unless they are heatsinked to an external case.
