Charging

I have 3 wet cell house batteries. When the charger has turned off after charging, one battery reads 14.43v, one reads 13.87v and the last one reads 13.78v. Is this discrepancy acceptable or am I going to damage my batteries.

TIA!

Re: Charging

The only real way to know would be to disconnect the batteries and allow to sit a couple hours and then take the measurements.

What/how are you measuring the voltages?

I disconnected the batteries from each other and measured the voltage with my multimeter right after the charger shutdown.

What am I looking for after they have been disconnected for a few hours?

you are looking for the voltages

all the measurements you gave in post 1 are higher than what a fully charged acid battery would be, so by them selves mean nothing really
