Hi dave,

Thanks for clearing that up, I have finished with the planning stage, now to get on with the work!

Some poster further up the thread remarked that he was having problems with his electronics cutting out when the windlass or thruster were being used, which is a good reason to run all the electronics off the house bank while the starter/thruster/windlass bank handles the heavy loads. Snagging your anchor on something while the windlass is in operation can sometimes create a very heavy drop in voltage for a moment.
