Craigslist solar panels

Help.

I have been researching solar panels to death. And frankly I think I've just gotten myself confused.
There some ads locally on Vancouver Island BC that are listing panels the cheapest I've seen. However that being said, the specs are almost identical to what I can get in the stores. Considering the fact that for the price I can replace them 3 time for the price of the other panels, I am almost going to just go for it.

So here is the big question:
Has anyone out there had any experience, good or bad, with buying solar panels off Craiglist or similar?

Hi, If you are referring to the panels sold by a dealer in the Qualicum beach area, then I can tell you that there are dozens of his panels floating around on boats in Comox Harbor. I bought three of his 230 watt panels @44 v, for $1.10/watt. At that price buy a spare. They seem to be well constructed panels with a good warranty. There is also a company in Vancouver with the same pricing and probably the same source in China, also advertising on Craigslist.

I bought four panels off of Craigslist and I'm very happy with them. I highly recommend you bring a multimeter and check the voltage and amperage output. Go on a sunny day
